Reservation
One weeks payment in advance is required to confirm a reservation.
Rent Payment
The entire rent is due upfront. We recommend you pay by PayPal, when you request a date we will send you the link and payment information. Reservations are only confirmed when payments have cleared. We also accept cash, personal checks, wires, money orders, and most major credit cards.
Owner accepts personal checks only from the US and with printed address and corresponding State ID card, passport or drivers license which states the same address. I.D. must be photocopied and accompanying any check. No credit cards are accepted.
Cancellation Policy
Should the Guest wish to cancel a reservation, notice of cancellation must be in writing (both email and telephone are accepted) and received more than 30 days prior to check-in date. Cancellation notices received more than 30 days prior to check-in are free of charge and your first weeks payment will be refunded in full. If the Guests notice of cancellation is received less than 30 days prior to the check-in date, the Guest agrees to forfeit that weekly advanced payment.
Maximum Number of People
The rental property has a maximum occupancy limit of six persons. Any further occupants will be considered as over occupancy. Over occupancy is considered a violation of this rental agreement.
Keys
Keys will be issued to the tenant upon arrival, a $10 fee will be charged for any lost sets.
Pets
Pets are not allowed in the rental property.
Smoking
Smoking is not allowed in the rental property.
Cleaning
The property will be cleaned weekly. This also includes washing/changing bed linen, but not Guests personal laundry. Laundry facilities are available for tenants at any time.
Liability Release
The Tenant does hereby release from liability and agrees to indemnify and hold the Owner of the property harmless. This release is for any and all liability for any personal injuries (including death) and/or any property losses or damage occasioned by, or in connection with any activity or accommodation related to the lease of the rental property. Any legal disputes arising under this Agreement shall be mediated through arbitration and subject to the rules of the American Arbitration Association at the branch office closest to Venice, California.
